International Clown Hall of Fame, Milwaukee
Founded in 1987, the Clown Hall of Fame (CHOF) was conceived as a living museum, highlighting the art and history of clowning and its place in society.

Milwaukee has a historic circus tradition, with over 100 shows (including Ringling Brothers Circus) originating in Wisconsin. As a consequence, the International Clown Hall of Fame has an extensive collection of clown costumes and props donated by some of the circus' greatest names.
